During my internship at Virakle, I was asked if I would like to work on the website for De Nieuwe Aanpakkers. I was provided with the color palette, fonts, and other design assets. My job was to implement the home page design and work on all the other pages that needed to be created. See everything below or take a look at the website: De Nieuwe Aanpakkers.
Designs
For the project "De Nieuwe Aanpakkers," I did a lot of designing and developing interfaces. My journey began with creating designs in Figma. After finalizing the designs, I transitioned to programming them using HTML and CSS, bringing the static mockups to life on the web. This involved attention to detail to ensure that the final implementation matched the original designs as closely as possible.
Project register
In addition to designing, I worked on several functionalities, such as the project register. I redesigned the form and added an image upload feature. Additionally, I implemented interactive elements: when users fill in the input fields and click 'next,' the fields turn green. The submit button only becomes active once all fields are filled out and the user has accepted the privacy policy.
Register form
I also worked on a form that allows users to register for the De Nieuwe Aanpakkers program to come in contact with the organisation.
Contact form
For the contact form, I ensured it would send an email to the organization of De Nieuwe Aanpakkers upon submission.
reCAPTCHA
I added reCAPTCHA to all forms to prevent spam.
Notification email
Lastly, I added email notifications for verification purposes and to provide additional information to users.
